About Me

Rue is a young Cattle Dog mix who is looking for her Friends for Life! She can be a little bit shy at first and may need some time to show you her true personality, but once she starts to feel comfortable, her sweetness starts to shine. Rue loves earning yummy treats while working on her training and playing fetch with toys. She has positive experience with other dogs and enjoys doggie playgroups! Rue would do best with a patient family who will allow her to build confidence at her own pace and give her plenty of encouragement along the way.

spcaLA volunteers and staff provide shelter pets like Rue enrichment and socialization through spcaLA’s HEAL Program. In the program, dogs also work on basic obedience and manners. To learn more, visit Rue at the the spcaLA P.D. Pitchford Companion Animal Village & Education Center.
